Solemn looking
She drags her belongings
As she stumbles around
Life has beaten her down
So much loss and pain
Her life forever changed now
People watch her walk by and snicker
Words of hate that she pretends not to hear
Grateful they can’t see the tears
No one knows what she has seen
Not one has stopped to ask her why
She could not even begin to explain
Society has labelled her insane
Cast her aside to wither away alone
She has lost everything even her home
