There are just some things in our life that we can’t keep putting off.

Many of us choose the road of least resistance. We either avoid it or sweep it under the carpet and pray for it to go away. Some things don’t ever just go away. They fester and raise until you can’t avoid them any longer

Then that thing you kept putting off becomes something even bigger.

So where do we start putting those things back into perspective and making them right?

When my youngest daughter gets a splinter she won’t let anyone pull it out. It hurts and she cries a lot. But she screams and runs away if she thinks you are going to touch the splinter. We’ll put ice on it to sooth the pain, but it only last for a little while. The area still gets red and eventually infected.

Only when it’s filled with pus and billing…
